For the past 2 years, Katie Yoder and I have been the lead Creative Directors on the Sephora account at R/GA . Managing a team of mid-level and senior creatives, we have produced 8 top-funnel video campaigns, including Black-Owned Brands, Clean at Sephora, ColorIQ, Holiday 2021 and 2022, and more. We concept and produce each campaign with fresh creative, partnering with Sephora to establish new visual and tonal standards for the brand as they expand their platform, We Belong to Something Beautiful. Along the way, we’ve help establish a real-yet-cinematic look for Sephora, working closely with top-tier hair stylists, makeup artists, wardrobe stylists, directors, DPs, and production designers to ensure consistent elevation.

That’s why Sephora’s exclusive ColorIQ device uses technology to help you find your shade, then matches you with foundations in the store. We used ColorIQ as a case study for why Sephora’s in-store experience is trustworthy and better than the competition.
